1987 King of Tonga’s visit to New Zealand Hegan’s organized hundreds of Pacific Island and Maori cultural groups to welcome The king onto The new Telecom Satellite site.

1988 ‘The P.O.P’ Greenpeace Concert, Mt Smart Stadium Live performances by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eagles, Tony Childs, Neil and Tim Finn, Dave Dobbyn, Te Puru o Tamaki, The Bats, Herbs, Mental As Anything, Te Vaka, When The Cats Away etc hosted by Billy T James

1988 After the Flood Concert Series Event, Mt Smart Stadium and Te Araroa Domain A large flood concert series for Cyclone Bola victims along with Prime Minister of the day, the late David Lange, the armed services and the mayor of Gisborne’s flood relief group raising $500,000.

1990 ‘The Spirit of 1990’ - NZ Sesquicentennial Celebrations, Takaparawhau, Bastion Point Live, television event, for 20 million Pacific-wide television viewers starring over 1000 New Zealand entertainers as diverse as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Crowded House, The Clean and The Patea Maori Club.

1990 Commonwealth Law Conference, Aotea Centre Produced entertainment and cultural programme, including the first major production in the ASB Theatre, opening and closing ceremonies, film festival, closing party and ambient entertainment.

1991 Port Dragon Boat Festival, Princes Wharf 50,000 attended. 3 day outdoor entertainment festival.

1992 & 1993 ‘Rescue 111’, Princes Wharf 50,000 attended. Combined military and emergency services displays, as fundraisers for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Trust.

1994 Whitbread Auckland Stopover, Viaduct Basin 800,000 attended. Produced all entertainment in the Heineken Trophy Village including boats arrival, 34 day programme and Heineken Trophy prize giving.

1999 Millennium Government Scoping Scoping exercise for the Millennium Office. Hegan's undertook an assessment and feasibility exercise with the Millennium Office to abstain the practicality of all Millennium events. (Over 2000 events!)

2000 Millennium Dawn - With Ngati Whatua O Orakei live to 1.4 Billion Worldwide TV viewers. And a live audience of 200, 000 New Zealanders. - The single biggest event in New Zealand’s history involving a Thousand-boat flotilla, 10,000 person Haka, and all night bands. Working with New Zealand Navy, Air force, Police, FAA and Coastguard, National and Local governments and Maori and Pacific Island communities.

2008 World Vision 40hr Famine Event The Auckland Showgrounds came alive with everything from skateboard parks, band stages, survival expos, re-creation of African village and “The Life’ bus.

2007 & 2009 Atamira ‘Maori in the City’

- Working with Ngati Whatua o Orakei and Te Puni Kokiri Atamira was the single biggest gathering of Maori in Tamaki Makaurua with something in excess of 120,000 people through the gates of The Auckland Showgrounds. Event included three day concert, Awards ceremonies and expos of all things Maori including Whakairo, Rongoa, Tamoko Kite Aronui,

2010 NZ Body Art Awards

In collaboration with the New Zealand Body Arts Trust and sponsors Weta Workshops, Hegans produced and directed The Awards show.

2010 Rugby World Cup Opening and Closing Ceremonies

Hegans were approached by RWC 2011 Ltd to pitch for the opening and closing ceremonies and were the NZ finalists .

Their team included Weta FX, Oceania Sound and light, Native Audio, composer Don Mglashin, Commonwealth Games Choreographer Mary Jane O'Reilly, Ngati Whatua o Orakei and a host of other New Zealand creative and technical excellence.

2010 Code Black NZ (tm)

Hegans developed an extreme Television show for NZ television broadcast. Starring Olympian Gold Medalists, Barbara Kendall and Martial Arts Expert Glen Levy, Code Black brings together World Champion Skydiver Wendy Smith, World Champion Base Jumper Annie Helliwel, Uber Wave Surfer Doug Young Olympian Gold Medallist Canoeist Ian Fergusson and Olympic and World champions psychologist Dr Gary Hermansson in a confrontational 'under the skin' investigation into the mindset behind fear and anxiety.

2011Koha For The Crib

In collaboration with The Hone Tuwhare Charitable Trust, Hegans produced this show which featured Sam Hunt, Witi Ihimaera, Glenn Calqhoun, Tracey Tawhiao, Martin Philipps (Chills) Dave Kilgour (Clean) Whirimako Black, Herbs, Lawrence Arabia, Her Favourite Band hosted by Carol Hirschfeld and John Campbell

Tim Finn 2011 Tour: The View Is Worth The Climb

Hegans in collaboration with Universal Music present New Zealand musical legend, Tim Finn and his band. Although the tour is to promote his latest album, as Tim was a founding member of Split Enz and member of Crowded house he will perform at least some of his vast back catalogue of anthems and hits. This whistle stop tour of New Zealand will be supported by The Sami Sisters . The Auckland venue The Mercury theatre was last played by Tim in the 1970's and promises to shake some of the dust out of her lavish past.
